I notice a lot of those characteristics in one of my best friends. Her parents were both alcoholics and I know that it really did some damage to her and her brother. She still has a lot of trouble trusting people and she must always be in control. When she's not in control of her emotions she can literally have a break down. The one good thing is that she doesn't touch alcohol because she knows how it controled her parents lives.
