This short video addresses and gives a moving example of ‘letting go with love or detaching with love’. So many times an enabler is actually destructive to the situation.
The worst example I saw was from the TV show “Intervention” where mom would give her son, living at home in his late 20’s money for Heroin, drive him to score and then drive him home so he could use at home. This was an enablers solution to addiction.
