It's really important to learn the various stages of recovery that a person dealing with alcoholism or drug addiction has to go through. It won't be an easy process and it won't happen overnight. It's going to be a lifetime battle which has to be taken one step at a time. I also believe that it is important to address the reasons that caused that person to turn to drugs and alcohol. If those issues aren't addressed, chances are he/she could fall back into the habit, which would set-back the entire recovery process.

Alcohol and drug addiction is really a life threatening if not treated. It damages the brain, liver and all parts of the body resulting to serious diseases and worst death.

For me addiction recovery is the most challenging issue amongst addicted persons. They need to stop their drug and alcohol obsession slowly and step by step. It’s just like beating thyself and the fact that it took years before they can fully recovered because they need a holistic treatment.

And that I can say I’m very proud of those who have done addiction recovery. I salute you!
